T.G.I.G.F! Perfect Pizza

  • 1 ¼  cup T.G.I.G.F! Baking and Bread Mix
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • 7 gram Active Dry Yeast Packet
  • ¾  cup  Warm water - 110°
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil

· Preheat oven to 400°

· Line a 12”-15” pizza pan with parchment paper-do not skip this step

· In a large mixing bowl stir together:  T.G.I.G.F!, sugar, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and active dry yeast.

· Warm water in microwave

· Pour warmed water and olive oil over dry ingredients and mix thoroughly with electric mixer. Batter will be very thick.

· Using a rubber spatula spread batter onto parchment lined pizza pan

· Allow dough to rise on top of oven for 30 minutes-dough will not rise a huge amount but this step will ensure a crisp but tender crust.

· Place a layer of shredded or sliced mozzarella cheese on the risen crust first.

· Then add dollops of sauce and another layer of cheese.

· Place any other toppings you desire.

· Bake in a 400° oven for 15-18 minutes.

· You can also parbake the crust:

  • Prepare crust as listed above but do not add the cheese, sauce or other toppings
  • Bake 8-10 minutes
  • Remove from oven and wrap tightly in plastic wrap, freeze and simply thaw, top and bake an additional 8-10 minutes in 400°oven
